Graduate admissions for entering students, for all SOEST departments, are managed centrally by the UH Mānoa Office of Graduate Education, according to the requirements set forth by the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, and each department within SOEST. Applicants are encouraged to consult with each department prior to submission of the graduate application package to the University, as each department has slightly different requirements.
Graduate Application Fee Waivers
A limited number of graduate application fee waivers are available to bona fide Hawaii residents and currently enrolled students in the University of Hawaii system. Requests should be submitted prior to the application being submitted and one month before the application deadline (each program varies) for consideration. If you are applying for more than one program, a separate form must be completed for each program.
