The University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa provides visitors and those on official business with a variety of parking locations within walking distance to all SOEST destinations on the Mānoa Campus. Please confirm the location and availability of parking with your host/sponsoring department prior to driving to campus.

Visiting the Hawai‘i Institute of Marine Biology
HIMB has a longstanding tradition of hosting researchers and students from other academic institutions for collaborative engagement. An on-island faculty member must sponsor all visitors, with arrangements made prior to their visit.
Parking is limited in the Lilipuna Pier parking lot at HIMB. Long-term visiting staff and faculty can obtain a parking pass and gate access code from the HIMB Office in advance of arrival.
Daily visitors to HIMB on official business can park at Windward Mall in Kāne‘ohe (2nd floor of parking deck, off Aloloa Street), and then ride the HIMB shuttle van to Lilipuna Pier. Please consult with your sponsoring host at HIMB for the most up-to-date shuttle pick-up times.
