Ocean and Resources Engineering (ORE) is an academic department in the School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology (SOEST) at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. Established in 1966, ORE offers an academic program leading to the Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees. Our mission is to educate top quality ocean and resource engineers to meet the needs of Hawai‘i, the nation and the engineering profession.
