Alexander Krot Receives Humboldt Research Award

Alexander (Sasha) Krot, researcher at the Hawai‘i Institute of Geophysics and Planetology, has been honored with a Humboldt Research Fellowship for Experienced Researchers after having been nominated by Prof. Dr. Frank E. Brenker, Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt am Main, Germany. This award is conferred in recognition of lifetime achievements in research. Dr. Krot’s work spans astrophysical and cosmochemical problems related to the solar nebula and the formation and early history of the Solar System. As an award winner, he is invited to spend a period of up to one year cooperating on a long-term research project of his choice with specialist colleagues in Germany. Congratulations!
