Bachelor’s and Master’s Pathways
In collaboration with select departments across the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa campus, the Global Environmental Science program offers combined Bachelor’s and Master’s (BAM) degree pathways, which help students earn both their bachelor’s and master’s degrees in an accelerated timeframe. The pathway allows GES students to double-count relevant credits towards both their undergraduate and graduate degrees and also earn graduate-level credits at the undergraduate tuition rate, essentially saving time and money.
- Master of Public Health (MPH), Epidemiology Emphasis – collaboration with the Office of Public Health Studies
- Master of Science in Finance (MSF) – collaboration with the Shidler College of Business Department of Finance
- Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) – collaboration with the Department of Urban and Regional Planning
- Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Teacher Education (PBCTE) – Secondary Education (Science) – collaboration with the College of Education Institute for Teacher Education – Secondary Education
Here’s a simplified comparison table of the GES Bachelor’s and Master’s Pathways for anyone who is not sure which pathway to pursue.
