NEW Cruise results
Preliminary cruise results will be presented very soon during special oral presentation and poster sessions of the 2002 Fall Meeting of the American Geophysical Union (AGU). The oral presentation session (OS72D) will be held on the afternoon of Sunday, December 8th. A copy of the oral presentation abstracts is available here: FM02_OS72D.pdf. The poster session (OS11B) will be held on the morning of Monday, December 9th, and the poster abstracts are available here: FM02_OS11B.pdf.
Welcome to the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) 2002 NW Pacific Cruise Home Page! The cruise involved 33 scientists from 10 different countries and 10 different institutions. They sailed on the RV Melville from Osaka on May 1st 2002 and reached Honolulu, Hawai`i on June 5th 2002! In this page you may find out about various aspects of the cruise, as well as daily updates sent via e-mail by the chief scientist, Chris Measures (the latest update is posted below).
