SEMINAR: FORECASTING THE OCEAN: THE 2025-2035 DECADE OF OCEAN SCIENCE

This was a viewing of a previously recorded webinar hosted by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. The FORECASTING THE OCEAN: THE 2025-2035 DECADE OF OCEAN SCIENCE report was recently released. During the webinar, experts discussed the new report on forward-looking approaches to guide investments in research, infrastructure, and workforce development in the ocean sciences. The event was intended to provide the public with an opportunity to learn about the report’s findings and recommendations and submit questions to members of the authoring committee. More than 40 people attended this event.
