Dr. Inez Fung is a professor at the University of California, Berkeley. Her research interests include geophysical fluid dynamics and large-scale numerical modeling, biogeochemical cycles, remote sensing of earth systems, atmosphere-ocean interactions, and atmosphere-biosphere

She is a member of the National Academy of Sciences, a fellow of the American Geophysical Union (AGU) and American Meteorological Society (AMS), an elected member of Academia Sinica (Taiwan), received the AGU Roger Revelle Medal, gave the AGU Charney Lecture, and received the AMS Rossby Research Medal.
