The Hawaiʻi Sea Level Rise Viewer developed alongside the 2017 Hawaiʻi Sea Level Rise Vulnerability and Adaptation Report enabled community and government users to visualize and plan for the wide-ranging impacts of sea level rise across Hawaiʻi. The data visualization team is working to incorporate new CRC research and modeling results into an updated statewide viewer, as well as to build new products to best fit the needs of different communities. The team is also exploring virtual reality/extended reality and 3D visualization techniques to more effectively convey future impacts of sea level rise and environmental change in Hawaiʻi.
