Welcome to the Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument deep-sea data portal! This portal provides access to deep-sea data and images collected by deep submergence vehicles over 30 years of exploration and research expeditions at depths between 150-5000m within the PMNM. Data included within this portal were sourced from the Pisces IV and V submersibles and ROV RCV-150 run by the Hawai‘i Undersea Research Laboratory (HURL), NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer and its ROV Deep Discoverer (operated by NOAA Office of Exploration and Research, OER), and E/V Nautilus and its ROVs Hercules and Argus (operated by the Ocean Exploration Trust, OET).
