Artifact Condition: |
The vehicle is largely intact except the doors are missing along with the roof and engine covers. The wheels are disc with a round mushroom axel hubs. The engine is large and looks like the Chevy straight 6 which went into use in 1929. The vehicle appears to have been a 4 door with 3 side windows. The roof appears to have been a separate piece or soft top. An individual back seat can clearly be seen on the passengers side and framing for other seats, making this likely a 4 passenger car. Drivers side fender is intact and good condition. Difficult to tell if the bumper is present for certain. Below the rear driver's side window there appears to be an oval emblem or possibly a partition with an oval viewport for the window above. The engine has a parallel hinge across the top of it for attaching to each hood side flap. |

Additional Information: |
The 1929 Chevy International AC Sedan is most similar to this artifact. However the back seat would likely have been a bench. Also the roof was part of the body. Everything else seems to fit for this vehicle type. *3000 lbs |
