Probably the best preserved of all the LVT's in the Defensive Sea Area. Structurally it is entirely intact. A few holes and the engine appears to have been removed. Wheels and rollers present, but no tracks. |

LVT-2's were first used at Tarawa mostly as a cargo carrier because it didn't have the armor to protect passengers. Range/Speed- 150mi/17mph on land & 75mi/6mph in water. |
