Title: Reinventing the Toilet for Global Sanitation: The NEW Generator Resource Recovery
Dr. Yeh is the 2023 AAEES Kappe Lecturer, which was established in 1989 by the Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists to share the knowledge of today’s practitioners with tomorrow’s environmental engineers and scientists. His research and teaching interests are in water and wastewater engineering, global water and sanitation, water/energy/food nexus, and life support systems for space travel. Dr. Yeh communicates and promotes environmental engineering to the public and school children through classroom lesson plans, museum exhibits, podcasts, TEDx and Pint-of-Science talks, and a late night talk show comedy feature.
