Friday, November 15, 2019, Keoni Auditorium, Imin Conference Center, East-West Center, 8:00 a.m.-5:15 p.m. The symposium will feature technological advances, innovative modeling, and advanced analytical techniques that are leading to rapid progress in JIMAR focus areas such as ecosystem monitoring and forecasting, species and resource protection, and fisheries sciences. The symposium seeks to provide an opportunity to increase linkages between the Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center (PIFSC) and University of Hawaii research and teaching units. Oral and poster sessions have been planned for the one-day event. Presenters are a mix of JIMAR researchers, NOAA federal staff, UH faculty, and outside experts. Online resources are as follows.
