The 3rd Symposium of the Joint Institute for Marine and Atmospheric Research: New Technologies Driving Ocean Science Breakthroughs

Reminder–save the date! The JIMAR symposium will be held on Friday, Nov. 15, 2019, 8:00 a.m.-5:15 p.m., Keoni Auditorium, Imin Conference Center, East-West Center. It will feature technological advances, innovative modeling, and advanced analytical techniques that are leading to rapid progress in JIMAR focus areas such as ecosystem monitoring and forecasting, species and resource protection, and fisheries sciences. The Symposium seeks to provide an opportunity to increase linkages between the Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center (PIFSC) and University of Hawaii research and teaching units. Oral and poster sessions have been planned for the one-day event.
