Second Conference on Water Resource Sustainability Issues on Tropical Islands
Call for Abstracts: The Second Conference on Water Resource Sustainability Issues on Tropical Islands will be held on December 1-3, 2015 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, Honolulu. The conference is hosted by the four water resources research institutes in the Islands Region of the USGS’s National Institutes for Water Resources program (Guam, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands), and the USGS’s Pacific Islands Water Science Center, Honolulu, Hawaii. The conference will provide a platform for discussion between water resources researchers and others on existing water resource issues facing tropical islands and those issues that are likely to develop in the future, particularly due to the anticipated changes in climate. The Conference Organizing Committee welcomes your abstracts for oral and poster presentations. Submission deadline for abstracts is September 11, 2015.
