2026 Pacific Islands Coastal Health Fellowship

Applications are open for the 2026 Pacific Islands Coastal Health Fellowship (PICH). Coordinated by Hawai‘i Sea Grant and the Pacific Islands Ocean Observing Systems (PacIOOS), the PICH Fellowship is a place-based program for recent graduates with bachelor’s degrees to return to or remain in the Pacific Islands while gaining professional experience in coastal health and fisheries. Twelve-month, full-time placements for post-baccalaureate students from fields in conservation, policy, planning, or marine resources will be available with local agencies or community organizations in Hawaiʻi, American Samoa, Republic of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Palau, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and Guam.
