Mapping a network drive in Windows 11

Procedure

1. On the Desktop taskbar, right-click Start menu, then select and click File Explorer from the popup list.

   

2. In File Explorer, right-click This PC from the left side menu items, then select and click Map network drive from the popup list.

   

3. In the Map Network Drive window, either type in the share path (ie \\SERVER\sharename) or click Browse to find the share.

   Note - You may need to enable network searching to browse for the share.

   

   Note - Also, you may be prompted to login to the SOEST domain.

   

4. Click the Finish button from the Map Network Drive window.

   In the File Explorer window, click This PC to expand, the mapped drive should be listed below it.
