Research Interest

My research focuses on carbon chemistry and ocean acidification dynamics in open ocean, coastal, and coral reef settings. I am interested in using interdisciplinary approaches to explore how anthropogenic, physical, and biological processes drive ocean carbon chemistry variations across time and space. These approaches include modeling techniques, laboratory analyses, and autonomous instrumentation to better understand how natural processes can mask/enhance ocean acidification.
