Donald A. Swanson Graduate Fellowship

GRADUATE

The Donald A. Swanson Graduate Student Endowed Support Fund provides annual support for Earth Sciences graduate students at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Established through the generosity of USGS volcanologist Donald A. Swanson, the fund helps students pursue research on the geology and volcanology of Hawaiʻi by supporting tuition, fieldwork, and research-related expenses.

To Apply:

Complete a Don Swanson Fellowships Application Form pdf or docx by the 1 April Deadline. In it you will outline your proposed project. The application describes the research, its methodology and significance, and a proposed budget. A letter from your project advisor is also required.
