Charles "Chip" Fletcher joined the University of Hawaii Faculty in 1991. In addition to his research, Fletcher teaches various geology courses and is writing a textbook on physical geology, Our Restless Earth. Dr. Fletcher received his doctorate in geology from the University of Delaware and has authored more than 75 scientific papers.
