| Artifact Condition: | The spare tire is still mounted on the rear along with strips from the rubber tire. A 4 spoked steering wheel is present with switches mounted for operating the headlights. Surprisingly, the engine cover appears to be mostly present. The wheels are present and are spoked. The right side running board and fender are mostly intact. The battery/tool box can be seen just behind the right forward wheel fender. Portions of the cab framing are still up or nearby falling onto the seabed. | ||||
| Additional Information: | Cadillac had distinct 12 spoke wheels on the 314 series until 1928. In 1926 the battery/tool box was moved from the front to the running board. The headlight switches were moved to the steering wheel in 1927. The Victoria was a 2-door and could carry 4 passengers. The engine covers had 14 vent slots on the sides. "50 body styles and types. 500 colors and upholstery combinations" was the Cadillac catch phrase for the 314 series. *3000 lbs | ||||
