Kaena Point

After leaving the WHOTS mooring and Station ALOHA, during the transit back to Snug Harbor, one more CTD cast is conducted off Kaena Point. As this location has significance in the generation of internal tides, the CTD is lowered to near-bottom (which at this site is much shallower than at ALOHA). This concludes CTD operations for the cruise.
