Students and Post-Doc Opportunities

The Department of Earth Sciences invites applications for full-time M.S. and Ph.D. students.  We seek motivated students with B.S. degrees in physics, math, chemistry, biology, engineering, earth science, or planetary science. Graduate assistantships with competitive stipends and benefits are awarded for research in a variety of fields in earth, environmental, and planetary sciences.

Students in Garrett Ito’s group have strong backgrounds in math and physics and work on problems in geophysics and geodynamics.
