Julia Sable

I am a Ph.D. student at the University of Hawaii. I am studying physical volcanology under my advisor, Bruce Houghton. My research focuses on basaltic Plinian volcanism, using the case studies of the 122BC eruption of Mount Etna, Sicily, and the 1886 eruption of Tarawera, New Zealand.
