Ever wondered what a Benthos glass sphere sounds like when it
succumbs to the immense pressure of the deep ocean?
During the
WHOTS-5 deployment several glass spheres imploded and were recorded
by a hydrophone located on the seafloor at the nearby ALOHA
Cabled Observatory.

If you listen you will be able to hear the sound of the implosion reflect off the sea surface and off the sea floor several times.
