Ever wondered what a Benthos glass sphere sounds like when it succumbs to the immense pressure of the deep ocean? During the WHOTS-5 deployment several glass spheres imploded and were recorded by a hydrophone located on the seafloor at the nearby ALOHA Cabled Observatory.
