Back

5:30 pm: On the way back Kevin gracefully crosses the Hanakapi'ai Stream at mile 2 with Rudolf Nureyev-like moves.

Frame 1: Years of birling experience in the lumber camps of northern Ontario finally pay off as Kevin prepares to hop across this log

Frame 2: After 25 minutes of contemplating death by drowning in 2 feet of fast-moving water, he pounces. There are still indentations where his fingers dug into the rock.

Frame 3: Yesss!
