Some information about the land-station recording during the experiment.
Figure 1.
Map showing distribution of our temporary land stations (yellow dots number 1-40). Stations with "X"s did not function. Short red lines north and south of the gulf represent 100 geophones (75 to the south near Derveni, 25 to the north near Galaxidi)*. Other permanent/temporary stations: PATNET are stations of the University of Patras network; NOA are National Observatory of Athens stations; CRL are Corinth Rift Laboratory stations. Network of lines within the Gulf of Corinth represent airgun shot lines. Focal mechanism in the Aegean Sea is the July 26, 2001 Mw=6.4 Skiros Island event. A, Athens, P, Patras.

Click here to see an animated gif showing the feathering of the 6-km-long streamer along a south-to-north (line 14) transect of the Gulf. This movie shows the shot location (black dot) and streamer location (thick black line) for every second shot. (Warning: big file, 2.0 MB.)
Here is another Academy Award-winning movie showing the feathering along the north-to-south line 15. (Another big file, 1.9 MB.)
