ESF News Wednesday, September 24, 2008 ALOHA Cabled Observatory Scheduled for October Deployment The ACO (ALOHA Cabled Observatory) will leave Honolulu Harbor on October 17, 2008 on its way to Station ALOHA aboard the University of Washington's RV Thomas G. Thompson. There with the help of the ROV Jason II from Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute it will replace the ACO Proof Module, which has been operating since 2/07.
