Volunteer Training Training is provided to all HBEP Volunteers
to insure that individual volunteers are well-versed in the basics of
reef ecology, the natural and cultural history of the site, and the While some volunteer positions, such as Interpretive Guide and Program Docent, require a more lengthy training, it is important for all volunteers to understand the basic purpose and philosophy of HBEP, the organization their service is helping to support. Even "behind-the-scenes" volunteers, those providing clerical and maintenance support, will occasionally interact with the public and need to be able to answer visitor questions.
