For MAC OSX 10.4: How to set up printing to a Networked Printer

1. Go to Hard drive > Applications > Utilities and select Printer Setup Utility and open it

2. Click Add

3. Select Protocol: Line Printer Daemon - LPD, the address is either the IP address or the Computer that is hosting the printer.

In this example it is mapping the hp834 printer that is hosted on bambam.

Enter in Address: the IP address of the printer or the computer name followed by the Queue name.

In the Name: the name that you want to call the printer (this is the local printer name)

4. Click Add to finish the installation.
