For Windows XP: How to set up printing to FIERY

**IMPORTANT--If you've already downloaded the Fiery EX12 driver, please skip to STEP 2

1. Download the Fiery Fiery EX12 driver and extract it to any other folder where you can easily access it later (i.e. C:\unzipped\fiery)

2. Go to Start > Printers and Faxes and under Printer Tasks select "Add a printer"

3. Click Next to continue

4. Select Local printer attached to this computer and uncheck the box Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play printer. Click Next to continue

5. Select the Create a new port radio button and specific Type of port: Standard TCP/IP Port by selecting it on the pull-down menu

6. Click Next to continue

7. Specifiy Printer Name/IP Address: xfiery and Port Name: xfiery-fiery as shown below and click Next

8. Select the Custom radio button and click the Settings button

9. In Settings, verify Port Name: xfiery-fiery and Printer Name/IP Address: xfiery

Change the protocol to LPR by selecting the LPR radio button

Under LPR Settings, enter Queue Name: fiery and check the box LPR Byte Counting Enabled

Click OK to continue

10. Click Next when you're taken back to Add Standard TCP/IP Printer Port Wizard

11. Click the Finish button to begin installing the driver

12. In the Add Printer Wizard dialog box, select the button Have Disk

13. Specify the location where you extracted the Fiery EX12 driver or select Browse to find the path (i.e. C:\unzipped\fiery) Click OK to continue

14. Select Fiery XP12 Color Server PS and hit Next

15. Name the printer fiery or leave it as is, select No for default printer. Click Next

16. Select Do not share this printer and click Next

17. Do not print a test page unless you really want to

18. Select Finish

19. If additional files are requested, select the location where you extracted the Fiery XP12 driver or select Browse to find the path (i.e. C:\unzipped\fiery) Click OK to continue

20. Installation is now complete.
