For MAC OSX 10.2-10.3: How to set up printing to pubsplot dj5500

**If installing on OSX 10.4 or above, if you do not see the dj5500ps driver in the HP driver list, your OSX disc is needed to install the optional installs for HP printer

**IMPORTANT--If you've already downloaded the HP DesignJet 5500 PS 42 driver, please skip to STEP 2

1. Download the HP DesignJet 5500PS 42 driver and extract it to the desktop

2. Go to Hard drive > Applications > Utilities and select Printer Setup Utility and open it(In OSX 10.5 the printer utility is located in System Preferences)

3. Click Add

4. Select Protocol: Line Printer Daemon - LPD, the Address: xfiery and the Queue: pubsplot

In the Name: the name that you want to call the printer (this is the local printer name, IE Pubsplot)

5. Click Print Using and select HP then select the Designjete 5500ps

6. Click Add to finish the installation.
