Matlab functions for Spherical surface splines in tension
This project developed a Green's function solution for the case of spline interpolation
under tension on a spherical surface. It extends Robert Parker's work on a minimum
curvature spline [cf. Parker, R. L., 1994, Geophysical Inverse Theory, Princeton Univ. Press]
for a sphere by adding tension.

Availability of SPHSPLINE Matlab code
You can get the software and all the example scripts and data used in the publication
by downloading the
SPHSPLINE zip archive.
Note that the same functionality has been implemented in GMT's greenspline program.
