Unstable manifolds near station ALOHA in OFES QUICKSCAT

The geostrophic flow over 163°W-153°W and 17°N-27°N has been computed from the sea surface height given every 3 days. The final distance is 1° . The trajectories are computed for one month. Fig. 1 is the backward-in-time finite-size Lyapunov exponents at 22.75°N, calculated using the method of separating distance.
