Research
My research interests can be broadly classified as fish ecology and physiological ecology. We use both ecological and physiological tools to investigate the trophic biology and energetic strategies of fishes. Our interests are the role that deep-sea fishes play in food webs and how they are adapted to their environments particularly the deep-sea. However, the research projects in the lab are diverse so they are outlined below in broad themes. As for any researcher the themes presented below overlap and for some publications they could be presented in multiple themes. Links to publication abstracts are also provided.
