MATLAB® is a software environment from MathWorks® that includes a high-level language, interpreter, and debugger for performing computations. In this course, the examples and other materials are based upon Matlab as many of you will work with it during your own research. Using any other language or environment (such as Python, R, etc.) for your work this semester is perfectly acceptable.
