This page describes some of the work that I'm doing at the Hawaii Institute of Marine Biology. My research centers on digital remote sensing of coral reef ecosystems. I have focused primarily on algorithms for correcting remote sensing imagery for water column radiative transfer effects and on algorithms for classifying images into ecological groups.
