What is the biggest misconception about what you do? That seafarers make a lot of money and see a lot of countries.

What is the most important skill/trait that you rely on? Flexibility.

What is your most memorable experience from your career? Going ashore in Bangladesh in June 1972.

Tell us something about yourself. I was born in Seattle and grew up in Idaho. I live with my 4th wife, we each have 2 children. I like travel, reading and building ships and other things in bottles.
