What is your favorite part of what you do? Navigating on and off for over 10 years.

What is the least favorite part of your work? Taking apart the systems and getting them ready for shipping.

How/why did you get into this field? I was in the Navy and navigated for the Navy's deep-sea vehicles.

What are your career goals? To provide the leading navigation services to our scientists.

What is the biggest misconception about what you do: Preparation and planning - to properly prepare for a trip scientists and navigators should be communicating at least one month in advance.

What is the most important skill/trait that you rely on? Trigonometry and geometry skills.

What is your most memorable experience from your career? Jason IV project - The ship was in the Sea of Cortez, Jason was on the bottom of the ocean and students back in the U.S. drove Jason from their classroom.

Tell us something about yourself. I live in New Hampshire, my family likes boating and fishing. We have a pet bunny called Charlie.
