Some SOEST scientists have had the opportunity to bring students and teachers along with them on scientific research cruises on the UH research ships the R/V Kilo Moana, and the R/V Ka'Imikai - O - Kanaloa (KOK). By inviting teacher/student participation, we provide career development opportunities for in-service teachers; give students who are already interested in the ocean sciences a change to experience field operations; and generate interest and excitement among the parents.

This web site is still under construction, but information and pictures from recent cruises will be posted soon, please check back~!
