Leftovers is located east of Pidley’s Beach. Shoreline conditions such as wave height and current location and strength vary with season and short-term weather conditions, and may be hazardous. Waves at the beach are generally small, making this location suitable for swimmers with some experience. The eastern end of the beach is dominated by basalt boulders resulting in hazardous swimming conditions. During periods of increased wave height rip currents form at both ends of the beach and should be avoided. The bordering basalt boulders and offshore reef may be sharp, slippery, and dangerous and should be approached with caution.
