Introduction

Ke 'Iki Beach is a steep sandy cusped beach fronting Kahawai Beach Support Park, and located directly east of Shark Cove. The beach’s heavy, explosive shorebreak and steep, cusped nature and bordering rocks produce extremely hazardous conditions, and swimming is strongly advised against. Backwash sweeps into the shorebreak and a strong rip flows against the bordering jagged rock points.
