Grading:

Grading - Lecture Three exams worth 70% of your grade, in-class assignments worth 25%, attendance and participation worth 5%. You may also achieve 5% extra-credit for attending the Big Island field trip, or a 3 page paper on a subject we agree to before Thanksgiving. The paper will be due by Dec. 10 – the last day of class.

Grading – Lab Your grade will be the average of your lab grades. If you miss lab, your grade will be zero for that week.

Grading – Total Lecture is worth 70% and lab is worth 30%.
