Module 4/6 has landed on the ways. Note the spacer beams that AMI has installed between the hulls to ensure that spacing is maintained during assembly.

23 March

The foot valve and hull penetration for the HPR 418 are fitted into the pump room. The 418 will be set atop the valve, after the production welding is complete.

16 March

After AMI installed the last side shell on Module 4-6, they put a canvas cover over the pump and sonar room, which was promptly ripped off by a storm that passed over the area the next day.

The pump room has a lot of equipment and piping left to install before it is ready to go to the paint shop. We are also having a problem with keeping the area and piping clean.

9 March

The inserts in the base-plate for the EM 500. AMI has not cut the opening for the ADCP as of Friday.

2 March

The last frames have been installed on modules 4 and 6. 

Hanging the first side-shell on module 4 and 6. 

25 February

Continue to assemble frames into module 4 and 6, which are being worked together.

The sonar frame boxes have not been installed at this time. (As of Fri. p.m.)

20 February

Module 6 is joined to module 4 to complete assembly as a joined unit..

16 February

Main motor foundation.

Assembly started on module 6.

The leveling pins for the sonar frame.
