14 December 2000
On 14 Dec 2000, a meeting was held in Seattle to sign out the drawings that had
been approved by ABS. These drawings are the ones that form the building blocks
for the actual construction of the ship. From these drawings, GPA has a 3D model
of the ship, which is then broken down into modules, which the shipyard will use
to construct the ship. Signing for the Government is Pete Kilroy, for the
shipyard (AMI) was the project manager Craig Perciavalle, and from the prim
contractor (L/M) was Jeff Kline. The three are seated at the table from right to
left, and also in the picture are Tony Youssef assisting Jeff Kline from L/M,
and Doug Dixon, the project manager from PGA.
