At approx 1520 this afternoon the winch wire had some bad raps and we had to
stop and get them out. We finished about 1920. It was hard work but everyone
pitched in and we fixed the wire. The box core is on the way down again.
Will write more about it tomorrow. After I sent the noon report with the
wrong amount for the fuel on board the 2nd engineer sent me fuel that was
corrected for soundings.

Dynacon winch broke at 1135 this morning. There was 409 meters of wire still
in the water. The engineers put a new chain on and the winch was running
again at 1225. We are continuing on with science ops.
