| A celebration of undergraduates in research, the symposium is an opportunity for you to share your research, including creative and scholarly work, with other students, faculty, and industrial and government representatives in an exhibit-hall setting -- you are the program!
The symposium will consist of poster and oral presentations.

| E L I G I B I L I T Y |
| Undergraduates who are currently working on, or have accomplished, a research project under the supervision of a faculty member or other expert are invited to participate. Research projects should emphasize the acquisition and analysis of data, calculations and/or computer modeling or prototype development, and relevance of your original work. |
| H O W T O P A R T I C I P A T E |

Submit an abstract of your work and indicate on the submission form whether you want to give a talk, a poster, or both.
The deadline for abstract submissions is Thursday, April 12, 2001.

Prepare a talk [7-10 minutes, with 5 minutes to take questions.]
Indicate your A/V requirements on the submission form.
Prepare a poster [size limit is 44" x 44" maximum]
Poster format guidelines.
Plan to stand with your poster for at least 2 one-hour periods during the symposium.
