Sea Grant’s Role and Reward

June 4, 2005
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Smart Growth, sustainable development, livable communities, green architecture; what do these have to do with Sea Grant? The National Sea Grant Coastal Communities and Economies Theme Team presents a day long workshop, the Saturday before Sea Grant Week 2005, to explore how urbanization and development of our coasts is affecting all aspects of Sea Grant’s work, from aquaculture to education. Sea Grant is poised to assist our coastal communities in achieving economic, environmental and cultural vitality with benefits to our communities and the Sea Grant network

Space is limited, so registration is required. Deadline for registration is Monday May, 16, 2005. There will be a fee of $55 to attend, which will cover all materials, snacks and lunch. We will send you a confirmation e-mail once we have received your payment.
